Infertility treatment

Most of us hate uncertainty and we want information before we do anything. Therefore, we have prepared a brief guide to the infertility treatment process at our Clinic. We then share all the details in person. Infertility treatment can basically be divided into treatment with your own and donated eggs, where the procedure is slightly different.

Treatment with your own eggs

01 Choosing a time

The first thing you need to do is make an appointment. Make an appointment with the doctor on 577 005 911 (reception). You can call us on weekdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

02 Initial consultation

Please have your health insurance card and ID card ready when you come for the initial consultation with our doctor. If you have already received infertility treatment, please bring your documentation for review. Based on your medical condition, your doctor will suggest which examinations you should take.

03 Consultation of the results

Once the results have been determined, the most appropriate treatment can be started. Your doctor will suggest the most appropriate procedure for you. The timing of treatment itself then depends on the first day of your menstrual cycle.

04Treatment

There are several treatment methods available. Standard treatment with your own eggs is accompanied by hormonal stimulation, when mature eggs are removed from the ovaries at the time of ovulation. They are then fertilized in the laboratory and the development of the embryos is monitored. Five days afterwards the embryos are usually transferred back to the uterus.

05Pregnancy test

It is possible to determine whether you are pregnant as early as two weeks after implanting the embryos. Unused embryos can be frozen and stored for later use.
